Elegant Stained Glass Installation

Original existing window.

Framed in a new rough opening and installed a protective picture window.

For this project our client wanted to get more natural light into her bathroom by removing the existing window. She had collected a few pieces of stained glass she wanted install around the home and this piece was the perfect size for the location. After demoing the existing window we found water supply lines running through the wall. Fortunately, after inspecting the lines they were capped off in the attic an no longer serviced anything. We were able to cut the water lines and cap them below which allowed us to frame in the new rough opening. We also installed a new picture window in front of the stained glass as a protective barrier to ensure a long life for the piece. The client was thrilled with the end result and that wrapped up another successful project.
